Little Maggie’s Cakes comprises of a Mother and Son team, based in Horsforth, Leeds.

We provide cakes, cupcakes and cake-pops to suit the individual needs of the customer.

Maggie is the primary baker with over 25 years of experience in the food industry working at various locations around West Yorkshire.


John is the primary decorator with artistic skills acquired throughout life and as a former student of the Leeds college of Art and Design. 


Our Kitchen has been fitted with stainless steel worktops, top-spec easy clean units and walls.

We have fitted a separate refrigeration unit for business use, keeping all our domestic and commercial products separate.


We have separate sinks for hand washing and equipment along with insect protection and sufficient ventilation. We comply with the food standards agency and have recently registered our kitchen with local authorities, which is of a Level 5 standard. Both cooks hold a Level 2 – Food Safety and Hygiene certificate in catering.



We operate exclusively from 75 Springfield Mount in Horsforth, Leeds.


We do not allow walk-in visits as this could clash with other consultations or an active kitchen; we request that all potential clients call, email or text in advance to arrange an appointment.


It is advised that you contact us at least two weeks before you need the cake, 4-5 weeks, should you require a wedding cake, though we can and will accept urgent requests, however, due to urgency the price will inevitably be increased. 


A deposit is required to be paid no later than one week before the cake is required; note, we cannot produce the cake unless the deposit is paid. Feel free to browse examples of our work in our gallery - enjoy!
